Pastoral Welcome

Thank you for seeking out our church’s website, and if you are reading this I assume that you are looking for a church in our community. I know that the search for a church can be a difficult and even disheartening process. I pray this is not the case in your journey. The temptations to spend Sunday morning sleeping in, working around the house, taking the kids to sporting events, are all very strong in our society today. As Christians we believe there is something significant about gathering in worship that enables us to more clearly recognize God’s rightful place in our lives, and grow in our individual faith.

There are many churches in this community to choose from and you need to find the one that is the best fit that enables you to worship God, grow in your faith journey, and will provide you with the right opportunities to live out your faith in service to others. One thing about our faith community that you will not see in a list of programs and ministries is the spirit of love and care that members share with each other. There is an openness and acceptance that allows for a meaningful diversity among those that worship here. We are people who are at different places in our faith journeys, from skeptics to disciples, with a freedom that allows each person to seek Jesus Christ from where they are.
